By TJ MAXWELL Copperas Cove senior guard, Xylina Carlisle recently signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the Sul Ross Lady Lobos in Alpine during a signing ceremony at the Boys and Girls Club Teen Center in Killeen on Thursday.

15U Yankees’ Jacob Wagner starts his windup on the mound during the fifth inning of their 14-7 win over the Cubs on Tuesday. Wagner picked up the win after coming in at a 5-5 tie to start the fourth inning.

Athletes of all ages and grade levels are invited to take part in the Copperas Cove Summer Track program, beginning June 9 at 5 p.m. with the first meet at Bulldawg Stadium, followed by practices Tuesday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
