Cove hosts annual Summer Run to Fun

By TJ MAXWELL   South Park in Copperas Cove was teeming with health-minded individuals and families on Saturday morning. More than 200 people ages six to 74 descended on South Park from as far away as Union City, New Jersey to compete in the annual Summer Run to Fun 5K race on Saturday.

Copperas Cove Summer Track makes debut

TJ MAXWELL   The Copperas Cove summer track season officially got underway on Monday, a week after it was set to begin, on a brand new track surface at BulldawgStadium. Over 270 kids participated in the opening meet on the brand new Bulldawg track.

Cove defensive end commits to Houston

By TJ MAXWELL   Copperas Cove standout defensive end Tyrell Thompson decided now was the time to make up his mind where he would hang his helmet next year. That decision landed him just 200 miles down the road at the Division I program at the University of Houston.

Cove TTAB/S City Championships well underway

By TJ MAXWELL   The quest for State officially began on Tuesday and Wednesday when teams of all ages competed in Copperas Cove City Championships. The largest field, 8-under boys machine pitch, got their postseason underway on Wednesday when the eight teams faced off for supremacy.
