Members of the Lady Dawgs softball program were honored for their hard work in finishing above .500 on the year of a program during the Denim and Diamonds Awards Banquet Thursday at the Copperas Cove Civic Center. Eight varsity players received player-voted honors during the banquet for their second-straight winning season and their secondstraight trip to the postseason. “This bunch of girls here are the true essence of a team,” said head softball coach Bryan Waller. “They love each other.
