Gabby Emeana, a player for the 8U Girls Machine Pitch Athletics, earned a spot at the Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run Houston Astros Team Championships at Minute Maid Park in Houston on June 1. “I am very excited because I have worked hard to win in the Pitch, Hit and Run competitions,” said Gabby Emeana. “I know it would mean a lot to my teammates, my family and my friends if I win.” Emeana finished first in all three events for a total of 606 points during the Pitch, Hit and Run competition on April 5 at Copperas Cove City Park. That performance earned her a spot at the sectional competition in Austin on May 16th.
