By TJ Maxwell   Cold, blustery conditions couldn’t cool off the Bulldawg bats as they strung together 12 hits and had a strong outing from senior hurler Charles Folger to give first-year head coach Dusty Brittain a 9-0 shutout win over his former team on Tuesday night.

Lady Dawgs hang 25 runs on Lady Roos

By DAVID MORRIS   The Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs opened District 8-5A with a convincing 25-1 victory over the Killeen Kangaroos Tuesday night. Junior pitcher Carlee Duran pitched a complete game throwing five innings in the run ruled contest while striking out six on the night.

By JAMES DAVID   The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs got back into the win column on the strength of sophomore pitcher Conner Lake’s no-hitter against Trinity Valley Saturday afternoon. The Dawgs gave Lake plenty of run support in a 10-0 rout which got called after 5 ½ innings due to the 10 run “mercy rule.

By DAVID MORRIS   The Copperas Cove Junior High Lady Bullpups and S.C. Lee Cougars squared off Monday in a cross town matchup on the hardwood of Bulldawg Gym with the CCJH claiming the eight grade bragging rights and S.C. Lee the seventh grade games.

By DAVID MORRIS   BELTON-Jockeying for position in District 8-5A, the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs and Killeen Kangaroos squared off inside the Frank and Sue Mayborn Campus Center Friday evening to break the third place tie and decide the seeding for the bi-district round of the Class 5A playoffs.

By DAVID MORRIS Copperas Cove sophomore Lane Teeter will be compete on the biggest stage in Texas high school wrestling as the state tournament begins today in the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland. For the second consecutive year the Bulldawgs will be represented at the State level.
