BELTON-Jockeying for position in District 8-5A, the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs and Killeen Kangaroos squared off inside the Frank and Sue Mayborn Campus Center Friday evening to break the third place tie and decide the seeding for the bi-district round of the Class 5A playoffs. A three-pointer in the third quarter of action sent the Dawgs ahead of Killeen with the Dawgs claiming an 80-68 victory, outscoring Killeen 46-27 in the final two quarters of action.
