By TJ MAXWELL   After firing out of the gate like a rocket, the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs baseball team has hit a turbulent patch in their season, dropping three straight decisions, including Tuesday’s 9-7 loss at Ellison.

By TJ MAXWELL   Copperas Cove junior Andrew Leuthner was not going to be denied the gold medal in the 4x100- meter relay. He blazed past his opponent to bring his team the top prize at the 2014 Eagle Relays at East View High School in Georgetown.

Soccer splits with Ellison, Girls win, boys lose

By JASON HOEKEMA   Cheers and boos filled the air as Cove faced off with the Ellison Eagles in the last home game of the season Tuesday evening. This game was one to be remembered, as eight of the varsity players played at Ave. E for the final time.

Bulldawg football releases schedule for 2014-15 season

By TJ MAXWELL   The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs will kick off the 2014 campaign with two tough opponents at home. On Friday, August 29, Region II Division II finalist A&M Consolidated will come to town followed by state semi-finalist Lake Travis on Friday, Sept. 5.

Grand slam leads Cove past Killeen
