By TJ MAXWELL   The night may have begun a bit shaky for senior Copperas Cove senior Bryce Delano, but after five consecutive strikeouts on the mound spanning the second and third innings and a grand slam at the plate in the fourth, he was settled in just fine.

By DAVID MORRIS   The Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs were on the receiving end of a no-hitter as the Midway Pantherettes outscored Copperas Cove 9-0 in their District 8-5A contest Friday. Junior pitcher Carlee Duran received the loss pitching six innings giving upnine runs on seven hits and three walks.
