By DAVID MORRIS BELTON- The Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs dropped another high scoring District 8-5A contest following a weather delay Wednesday evening to the Belton Lady Tigers 8-0. With four division I commits on the roster, Belton’s faster attack gave Lady Dawgs goalie Alex Johnson fits.

Brittain returns to Gatesville

By DAVID MORRIS GATESVILLE - Clad in blue and gold, Bulldawgs baseball coach Dusty Brittain returned to his old stomping grounds where he played high school baseball as the Dawgs traveled to Gatesville to take on  he Hornets in weatherdelayed contest Saturday afternoon.

Dawgs rout Roos stay in playoff hunt

By DAVID MORRIS The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs jumped out to a quick start in the home finale Friday evening, routing the Killeen High Roos 85-52. The win keeps the Dawgs in the playoff picture and a win tonight over Shoemaker sends them to the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

Soccer delays games for warmer weather
