By TJ MAXWELL   Lady Bulldawgs’ fans and players were likely feeling a bit of déjà vu of their loss to Killeen in the district opener after watching a seven-point fourth-quarter advantage deteriorate to just one point with 1:08 left to play Friday night against Ellison.

By TONY ADAMS   The Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs went into Tuesday’s battle in Belton to collect momentum going into the Christmas break. Belton looked to battle back from a tough District 12-6A opening loss at Shoemaker.

By TJ MAXWELL   Very few players have that magic switch they can flip to switch gears, but Copperas Cove senior Rashard Odomes has that gear and switched it to turbo mode Tuesday night when he notched a triple-double to lead the Bulldawgs to an 81-66 win over No. 17 La Vega.

By TJ MAXWELL   The Copperas Cove boys’ bowling team remained perfect on the season with a 15-2 victory over the Roos Tuesday at Hallmark Lanes. James Norris led the Dawgs to victory with a 217 average in match play to help propel his team to a 7-0 lead after match play.

By TJ MAXWELL   The Lady Dawgs did everything right – except get the ball through the cylinder. Copperas Cove out-hustled, outrebounded and out-played the Killeen Lady Roos in the District 12-6A opener on Friday at Bulldawg Gymnasium but came away on the losing end of a 56-50 score.
