By TJ MAXWELL   It was a must-win in the minds of the Lady Dawgs and the youngest member of the squad took that to heart. The Lady Dawgs fought their way to a 51-42 over the Belton Lady Tigers on Friday at Bulldawg Gymnasium, led by sophomore Chyanne Chapman’s double-double.

By TONY ADAMS   The Belton Tigers boys had a tough task on Friday night at Tiger Gym, as they took on the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs. Armed with one of the area’s top players, power forward and Oklahoma commit Rashard Odomes, Cove rolled into town looking for a critical win in District 12-6A.

The Dawgs rallied late but were unable to overcome the Roos, eventually falling 72-69. Cove (15-10, 2-3) falls to fifth place in the district behind Killeen (3-3), Shoemaker (3-2), Elliosn (4-1) and Harker Heights (4-1).
