By TONY ADAMS   The Belton Tigers boys had a tough task on Friday night at Tiger Gym, as they took on the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs. Armed with one of the area’s top players, power forward and Oklahoma commit Rashard Odomes, Cove rolled into town looking for a critical win in District 12-6A.
Cove senior Rashard Odomes is smothered by the Killeen defense as he goes up for a shot on Tuesday at Bulldawg Gymnasium. The Dawgs rallied late but were unable to overcome the Roos, eventually falling 72-69. Cove (15-10, 2-3) falls to fifth place in the district behind Killeen (3-3), Shoemaker (3-2), Elliosn (4-1) and Harker Heights (4-1).
