CCLP/TJ MAXWELL Copperas Cove senior Josh Canete competes in the high jump, where cleared 6-feet, 6-inches to win gold at the UIL Region I-6A Track and Field Championships held at the University of Texas at Arlington’s Maverick Stadium on Saturday. Canete advances to the UIL State Track and Field Championships to be held May 11-13 at the University of Texas’ Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin.
