CCISD welcomes new teachers

By KERRI CHRISTENSEN   The district welcomed 66 new teachers for the 2014-2015 school year with 28 of those teachers being first-year teachers during a new teacher orientation that started on Wednesday.

Cove stylist offers $5 back2school haircuts

By KERRI CHRISTENSEN   Back to school is right around the corner and veteran owned Maria’s Beauty Salon is helping out with $5 haircuts for all students. The salon’s doors have been open in Copperas Cove since 2009, but the business itself has been in operation since 1995 in Colorado.
