By WENDY SLEDD   Students that attend Crossroads High School are there by choice. For various reasons, the students said they chose to attend the alternative school but did not realize how much they were leaving behind outside of the classroom.

By WENDY SLEDD   Necessity is the mother of invention and a broken cell phone is what led to twin brothers at Copperas Cove High School opening their own iPhone repair business.
The Copperas Cove High School Prom Committee will have a booth during the fall sale downtown Saturday. Students were encouraged to bring their items they don’t use for donations.

By DAVID MORRIS   The early bird will surely get the worm, Saturday as more than two dozen vendors are set to line Ave. E in the downtown area ofthe city for the city wide  garage sale. Gates open to the public at 8 a.m. with the vendors setup starting at 6:30 a.m.

By WENDY SLEDD   Ariel McDonald’s father was a 4-time All-American wrestler throughout high school and college and she herself, has competed in national tournaments. But, it’s more than just following in her father’s footsteps for this Copperas Cove High School freshman.
