Love for bikes keeps Larry’s downtown for 30 years

By KERRI CHRISTENSEN   Offering free estimates, Larry’s Bike Shop of Copperas Cove has been open since 1979 with only one owner and operator, Larry Brooks. Located at 109 E Avenue E. Brooks, 68 opened up his doors when he was 33 years old because to him bicycles are environmentally friendly.

By KERRI CHRISTENSEN   Cloudy and rainy since Sunday, the weather in Copperas Cove has been more than wet this week with heavy downpours rolling in. The chaotic storms brought a tornado watch the start of the week with scattered thunderstorms producing a flash flood watch throughout the area.
