CCISD rep: bond proposal details to be on board agendas Aug. 11 and 12

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press   After a May 2024 bond that did not pass with Copperas Cove ISD voters, the district will be trying again in November 2025 for another bond. However, the details of that bond will look like have not yet been released.

City to launch information campaign for transportation fee

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press   Copperas Cove residents and businesses with City of Copperas Cove water utility accounts should be on the lookout for a transportation utility fee that could begin as soon as Jan. 1, 2026.

Work begins on Copperas Cove’s newest mural

By PAMELA GRANT Cove Leader-Press   Work is well underway for Copperas Cove’s latest mural. Artists began work early last Thursday morning and continued throughout the week. All of those working on the mural are volunteers. The leader of this mural is Linda Lapierre who came up with the idea.
