CCISD to call for November 2025 bond election

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press   As of Monday, the clock started ticking for the Copperas Cove Independent School District to place a bond on the Nov. 4, 2025 election ballot.

By PAMELA GRANT Cove Leader-Press   The Copperas Cove Public Library’s annual Summer Reading Program kicked off Tuesday with lots of fun and excitement with Big Time Bubbles shooting bubbles over a crowd of excited children, many of them armed with balloon swords.

Copperas Cove ISD starts summer feeding program

  Special to the Leader-Press   The CCISD Child Nutrition Department has announced its schedule for summer feeding this year at four different sites across the district. Of these sites, all four will feed families during the month of June with one also feeding during July.

By Wendy Sledd Special to the Leader-Press   While most high school seniors are preparing for life after graduation, Copperas Cove High School’s Daniel Manning already has a college degree in hand and a clear vision for his future in the medical field.
