Ave. D sidewalks on agenda

By DAVID MORRIS   The Copperas Cove City Council will meet tonight at 6 p.m. with the Ave. D sidewalk project financing and service agreements on the agenda stemming from the Transportation Alternatives Program application due October 15.

By LYNETTE SOWELL   From now until March, young and old alike are subject to the flu, and local healthcare providers like Baylor Scott & White Clinic in Copperas Cove are helping people prevent catching the disease. At this point, it’s hard to predict if the flu season will be a harsh one or not.

CTC and Microsoft hold achievement ceremony

By BRUCE VASBINDER   Central Texas College (CTC) and Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) co hosted an achievement ceremony Tuesday recognize transitioning active- duty service members who completed the Fort Hood Cohort 2 class and are now software development and testing specialists.

By DAVID MORRIS   Tying together the math and science lessons for the day, fourth graders from Fairview/ Miss Jewell campus learned the process of milking goats to fill the needs of drinking and in soap making.
