Questions arise with Ebola outbreak

By DAVID MORRIS

In the wake of three school closings in the Belton Independent School district, Copperas Cove ISD is following protocol determined by the Centers for Disease Control, working diligently to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the students. “Parents--Please be advised that your children’s health and safety are the utmost concern at CCISD. We are aware of a Belton ISD student traveling on Frontier Airlines over the weekend on the same flight where another passenger later contracted the Ebola virus,” CCISD posted on Facebook. “The student is not showing any symptoms at this time and is being monitored by the Bell County Health Department and the Texas Department of State Health Services.”
