By DAVID MORRIS   Tying together the math and science lessons for the day, fourth graders from Fairview/ Miss Jewell campus learned the process of milking goats to fill the needs of drinking and in soap making.

By DAVID MORRIS Cove Leader-Press   Students and faculty from Copperas Cove Independent school district were evacuated Thursday afternoon from their buildings across the city after the Copperas Cove Police department received a threat that a campus would be blown up if not evacuated  by 2 p.m.

By DAVID MORRIS The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce drew 168 contestants to their annual Gallop or Trot 5K run sponsored by H-EB Plus, one of three races held in the city for the 16 scheduled races of the Centex Race Series. Contestants started at the Copperas Cove Civic Center, turning on Ave.
