Commissioners to request second district court

By LYNETTE SOWELL   If the Coryell County commissioners’ resolution is accepted by the state, come Jan. 1, 2017, the county will have a second district court.

By LYNETTE SOWELL   Coryell County’s tax office in Copperas Cove is preparing to move to the Cove Terrace Shopping Center, around the time of the new year. This will allow the present annex location on Avenue D to expand its voting area, which will go where the current tax office is in place.

By DAVID MORRIS   Joining together as their ancestors did generations ago, members of Trinity Lutheran Church held their annual sausage fest Saturday, selling nearly four thousand pounds of the Mickan family’s secret sausage.
