Comptroller releases biennial estimate

By LYNETTE SOWELL   Right before Texas legislators opened the newest legislative session in Austin on Tuesday, comptroller Glenn Hegar re-leased the state’s biennial revenue estimate on Monday.

56-year old killed in one-vehicle accident

By LYNETTE SOWELL   A one-vehicle accident killed a Copperas Cove area woman Thursday afternoon. The driver, 56-year-old Sandra Spears, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
