Winter concert series

By DAVID MORRIS   Cove Junior High kicked off the Christmas concert series for Copperas Cove Independent School District on Monday with S.C. Lee following up with three bands performing in the winter concert.

Stripes set to open doors in mid January

By DAVID MORRIS   After months of construction, Stripes is set to open their doors, launching Cove’s 18th gas station and newest eatery, Laredo Taco Company. Stripes will employ 30 employees with a grand opening set for noon on Jan. 23, 2015.

Robots invade district for first mini-challenge

By DAVID MORRIS   The seven robotics clubs of Copperas Cove Independent School District converged on House Creek Elementary School for the district wide competition Saturday, testing the programming and building skills of the students.
