Hundreds gather at CCHS to compete in DECA competition.

There may be no school on Saturdays for most students, but more than 700 teens converged in the hallways and classrooms of Copperas Cove High School on Saturday hoping for a win that would take them to the next level. CCHS hosted the DECA Region 5 District Conference welcoming 702 competitors from throughout the region from Waco to Austin. Students competed in selected categories regardless of school district size.
