Police Explorers raise $1,800 with cookout, raffle

By DAVID MORRIS   The Copperas Cove Law Enforcement Explorers program raised more than $1,800 toward the purchase of all-weather jackets with their recent fundraiser selling raffle tickets for a Glock 17 and cookout at Just Glocks and Yankee Gunsmith.

The Central Texas College (CTC) Culinary Arts department will host a Patio Café Cuisine Nights Dining Experience tonight the menu features a Latin America cuisine. The featured appetizer and soup for the evening are mini phyllo cups filled with shrimp salad and gazpacho andaluz.
