Marines have kids’ best interest at heart

The Heart of Texas Young Marines is looking for a former, retired, active duty or reserve marine(s) to guide and mentor children ages eight through completion of high school. The Young Marines are a
youth education and service program that promotes the mental health, moral and physical development of its members. “The Young Marines organization was founded in 1958 and we are coming up on our 55th anniversary,” said Lt. Colonel Rich Beil. “The Heart of Texas Young Marines has been in operation for the last 10 years.”
