Operation Stand Down Central Texas is holding its 4th annual Vet Fest to Copperas Cove. City Park on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The annual event is to celebrate Veteran Owned Businesses, Veteran Owned Food Trucks, and Veteran Service Organizations in Central Texas to raise awareness and funds for OSDCT’s mission to assist homeless veterans and their families. Parking is $5.
Organizations scheduled to be on site include the Vet Center Mobile Van, D&S Cuddling Critters Foundation, Purple Heart Chapter 1876, CTXVHA-VA, Help Heal Veterans, Army Aviation Association of American, DAV Post 147 (E), Bring Everyone Into The Zone, Purple Heart Riders Motorcycle Association, Texas Veterans Commission, ReForm, Thrivent, American Veterans Mission, Agape Life Legacy, Irreverent Warriors - Temple, Central Texas All Airborne Chapter/82nd ABN Association, Olan Forest Smith VFW Post 8577, US Veterans Motorcycle Club Lonestar Chapter, and Pink Warrior Angels.
