GeekFest wristbands on sale now

By BRUCE VASBINDER Special to Leader-Press The sixth annual GeekFest, a celebration of all things gaming, fantasy, anime, technology and science fiction, will be held August 14- 16 in the Mayborn Science Theatre and the Anderson Campus Center on the campus of Central Texas College (CTC).

Cove student selected for Lone Star Leadership Academy

Ariel Draper, daughter of Richard and Anne Derby and a student at Fairview/Jewell Elementary  School in Copperas Cove ISD has been selected to.travel to Dallas/Fort Werth to participate in a summer 2015 Lone Star Leadership Academy camp.
