VFW Post 8577 hosts quarterly Bike Night

By KATHLEEN STARLING Cove Leader-Press VFW Post 8577 opened their doors and parking lot to the public Saturday evening for their quarterly Bike Night. “We want people to know we’re more than just BINGO,” said Craig Lacy, the post’s service officer.

CCISD board holds workshop, meeting Monday

This month’s CCISD school board workshop on Monday and the meeting that followed on Tuesday night were loaded with agenda items including upgrades to technology, planned trips to conferences, employee pay and contracts, paving at Halstead School and school meal program costs.

Kids compete in district level science fair

LEEP holds third annual car show
