New council members have orientation

Council to be presented with resolution to name Fire Station No. 2

By LYNETTE SOWELL   With Fire Station No. 2 nearing completion, the City of Copperas Cove presenting a resolution to the city council at tonight’s meeting, the first resolution of 2016.   The resolution would dedicate Fire Station No. 2 and name it the John A. Hull Fire Station.

CTC spring semester registration resumes

Central Texas College (CTC) resumed registration yesterday for the spring semester at the central campus in Student Services (Bldg. 119). New students must first complete the admissions/advisement process which will also be conducted in Student Services through January 15.

Bulldog smooches raise money for United Way at CCISD

Copperettes dance at college and professional levels

Christmas wishes were granted early for three dancers in the former national champion Copperettes dance line. The Cove high dancers got the opportunity to take the field and the court at both the college and professional levels.

Halstead students learn science through Texas Wildlife exhibit
