Warriors in pink run/walk for a cause

By PAMELA GRANT Cove Leader-Press   Dozens of men and women decked out in pink showed their support for breast cancer awareness by participating in the Pink Warrior Angels’ 2nd Annual Pink Warrior Dash 5k run/ walk.   The 5k took place at the Copperas Cove City Park Saturday morning.

School board to hold monthly meeting tonight

Special to Leader-Press   There is a new Excel Club in Copperas Cove. The High School United Teen Service (H.U.T.S.) Excel was officially recognized on September 16. The Club elected officers and received their National Exchange pins from District Director Geraldine Lorio.

Exchange club to hold Golden Deeds banquet

Special to Leader-Press   The Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove met on September 16 at Lil Tex Restaurant. President Inez Faison called the meeting to order and Dr. Parker Bogue offered the invocation.

After four years, student food pantry still going strong
