Cove Bass Club fishes Belton, Stillhouse lakes

By JACK JOHNSON Special to the Leader-Press   BELTON - The Copperas Cove Bass Club held their quarterly two-day bass tournament last weekend. The club fished Lake Belton on day one of the tournament and followed up with the second day on Stillhouse Hollow Lake.

The Hills of Cove Golf Course in Copperas Cove will be hosting a two-person blind scramble golf tournament on Saturday, Aug. 27. You are invited to come out and have some fun playing a different kind of tournament.  Registration will run from 7-7:30 a.m. and tee-off time will be at 8 a.m.
