By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press  Voters go to the polls today for the general and special elections for the city of Copperas Cove.  A total of 690 Copperas Cove voters turned out during two weeks of early voting, which ended Friday. Overall in Coryell County, 1,683 voters cast early ballots.

Special to Leader-Press   In 1998, Copperas Cove resident Tammy Craddock was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy. This came as quite a shock to her as there is no history of heart disease in her family.  Since she was diagnosed, Craddock’s health has steadily declined.
