Memorial held for Chief Molnes in June

The month of June kicked off with a pair of graduations, when 27 Crossroads High School students walked across the stage at Lea Ledger Auditorium to receive their diplomas on June 2.

Students rotate through holiday reading stations

Special to Leader-Press   Fairview-Miss Jewell students and teachers enjoyed a twist on learning by celebrating reading campus-wide through creative stations. Classes in every grade level rotated to a combined 12 different stations.

Dodgeball for Blue Santa

The Copperas Cove Police Department and the Copperas Cove Fire Department faced off in a round of dodgeball on Saturday evening at the S.C. Lee Junior High School Gymnasium. The police department came out victorious, narrowly beating the fire department 8-7.

CCISD adopts new learning management system

Special to Leader-Press    The days of pencil and paper have long been pushed to the side with technology as the driving force in the classroom. Students and staff at Copperas Cove ISD began utilizing a new learning management system this year called Schoology.
