By MyKala Guerrero Cove Leader-Press   Last Thursday morning, the Central Texas Food Bank’s mobile food pantry met in the parking of Holy Family Catholic Church to serve the community in the fight against food insecurity and hunger.
Copperas Cove Chapter #1070 of the Order of the Eastern Star held its annual installation of officers for the 2026-2027 term earlier this month with a dinner followed by the formal ceremony at the Mt. Hiram Masonic Lodge.

By BRITTANY FHOLER Cove Leader-Press Copperas Cove Chapter #1070 of the Order of the Eastern Star held its annual installation of officers for the 2026-2027 term earlier this month with a dinner followed by the formal ceremony at the Mt. Hiram Masonic Lodge.

These nozzles provide advanced suppression technology designed to improve firefighter safety and operational effectiveness on the fireground. The HEN Foundation’s mission to support fire departments through equipment donations, grants, and hands-on training directly impacts the ability of departments to better protect the communities they serve.

Event chair Tammy Martinez, said that this event is in honor of Ronnie Viss, who died in May 2022.
