My hometown is under water. Parts of it, anyway. Places that hold sweet, buttercream memories . . . places that hold my history. As I write this, I feel helpless and small.
Okay folks, time for a rant.
I wrote this column in June, but after watching the horrific events unfolding at our Texas coast over the weekend due to Hurricane Harvey, I thought it good to update it and run it again.
Synonymous with winning is Lady Dawg Volleyball (18-4) and Dawg Tennis (8-3) at this time every year. Both programs have become well known throughout this region of Texas as consistent winners.
