Stripes convenience stores coming to Cove

    The area of the former Walmart location on U.S. Highway 190 will eventually no longer be used for storage, but will be one of the Stripes convenience store locations opening in late 2014. Stripes recently opened a store in Lampasas on Jan. 16. The 7,000-square foot facility is on North Key Avenue. Last week, Stripes opened two more stores in the Central Texas area with a double grand opening on Jan. 22 for its stores in Waco and Hewitt.
