Lady Dawgs make playoffs under new leadership

By SEAN HANEY Cove Leader-Press   Last Friday, the Lady Dawgs Volleyball team finished their regular season play with a win over Bryan.  This brings their season record to 27-15 and 7-5 in district play. They will play a warmup match today at home vs. Shoemaker at 5:30.

Dawgs to face Hutto Hippos on the road

By SEAN HANEY Cove Leader-Press   Tonight, the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs travel to Hutto to take on the Hippos. Hutto is coming off a close loss last week 31-27 against the Temple Wildcats making their record 3-4 (0-3 in district). They have some key players to watch for during this game.

By SEAN HANEY Cove Leader-Press   Last Friday night, the Lady Dawgs lost to Weiss along with the Dawgs football team. So, on Tuesday night the Lady Dawgs took their frustration out and swept Temple in three sets on Senior and Parents’ night.

CCHS golf team competes in back-to-back tournaments

By SEAN HANEY Cove Leader-Press   Last Friday and Saturday, the Copperas Cove High School golf team competed in the Lampasas Fall invitational, and on Tuesday they participated in the Copperas Cove Fall Invitational. They produced great numbers on both matches.

Dawgs to play host to Midway in district matchup

Copperas Cove alum races professional motocross

Cove takes on Pflugerville Weiss

By SEAN HANEY Cove Leader-Press   Tonight, the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs take on the Weiss Wolves on the road in Pflugerville. The Bulldawgs are 2-3 (0-1 in district) and are coming off a disappointing loss to Bryan last week. Weiss is 2-4 (0-2 in district) they are also coming off a loss to Temple.
