Copperas Cove to take on Temple in rescheduled game set for Thursday

by SEAN HANEY Cove Leader-Press   With bad weather looming, Copperas Cove’s varsity football game that was scheduled for Friday night has been rescheduled for Thursday night. Cove travels to Temple to battle it out in a district game and the final game of the season for the Bulldawgs.

Lady Dawgs make playoffs under new leadership

By SEAN HANEY Cove Leader-Press   Last Friday, the Lady Dawgs Volleyball team finished their regular season play with a win over Bryan.  This brings their season record to 27-15 and 7-5 in district play. They will play a warmup match today at home vs. Shoemaker at 5:30.

Dawgs to face Hutto Hippos on the road

CCHS golf team competes in back-to-back tournaments

Cove takes on Pflugerville Weiss

By SEAN HANEY Cove Leader-Press   Tonight, the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs take on the Weiss Wolves on the road in Pflugerville. The Bulldawgs are 2-3 (0-1 in district) and are coming off a disappointing loss to Bryan last week. Weiss is 2-4 (0-2 in district) they are also coming off a loss to Temple.
