Dawgs lose OT thriller, 49-46

By STEVE MCWHORTER Cove Leader-Press   The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs traveled to Bryan to open district play against the Vikings. The Bulldawgs played an exciting game, possibly their best of the year so far, and came up just short in overtime to the Bryan Vikings, losing 49-46.

Penalties costly in Dawgs loss to East View

By STEVE MCWHORTER Cove Leader-Press   Copperas Cove fell for the second straight week in non-district play to a Georgetown team.  The East View Patriots topped the Bulldawgs 40-21. The first week’s game was notable for the lack of penalties and clean play by both teams.

Dawgs show spark late in season opener with Eagles
