Spring cleaning

By LYNETTE SOWELL   Thirty-eight volunteers braved a cold front coming in on Saturday morning and gathered to clean up City Park. Saturday’s cleanup event was the kickoff for the city’s participation in the national Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup that runs through the end of May.

By LYNETTE SOWELL   Despite temperatures in the thirties, rain and wind on Sunday morning, about 83 women completed Sunday’s Tough Cookie Duathlon at Copperas Cove’s South Park.
