By LYNETTE SOWELL   The Reserve at Skyline Mountain, a future high-end residential housing development, is one step closer to becoming a reality after Tuesday’s city council meeting. The council approved the final plat of the subdivision, which constitutes approximately 57.635 acres.

Sales tax up 5.8% for state, down 1.24% for Cove

By DAVID MORRIS   Texas Comptroller Susan Combs said Wednesday that state sales tax revenue in February was up for the state as a whole 5.8 percent to $2.2 million compared to February of 2013. The City of Copperas Cove however continues to lose ground slipping 1.
