Kenney, Nathan Drive residents have a bumpy ride
CCHS DECA members Bryiona Whitley, Shomad Lomax and Quiana Whitley evaluate their final presentation on the DECA marketing project they conducted for the Houston Astros that resulted in younger attendance at season home games. The three students are part of a larger group of 35 that qualified for the International DECA Conference by winning the state of Texas and will compete in Florida next week for world honors.

High school bands from across the region will converge on Lea Ledger Auditorium in Copperas Cove on April 14-15 in the UIL band concert and sight reading contest with the hopes of making it to the state contest. More than 1,000 band students will be competing in the two-day event which is free to the public.
