Special to Leader-Press The Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove met last Friday at Lil Tex Restaurant. President Dennis Ayres opened the meeting by asking Dr. Parker Bogue to offer the invocation. Club Member Marilyn Bell led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance.

By CHUCK TAYLOR Cove Leader-Press   James Powell, 70, has lived in Copperas Cove the past 53 years. Born in Eminence, Missouri, Powell moved here when he was 17 years old and went to work for a company now called Oncor.

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press   After months of construction with delays due to the weather, Constitution Court Apartments will soon begin leasing its phase II units. The six-building complex has a total of 72 units, with the first section of units nearly ready to go for tenants.
