Fire dept. personnel receive Hazmat training

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press    Personnel from area fire departments gathered this week at the Copperas Cove Fire Department to receive training that will be vital in the case of emergency incidents where hazardous materials are concerned.

Library kicks off National Library Week with rally

By BRITTANY FHOLER Cove Leader-Press   The Copperas Cove Public Library kicked off National Library Week with the 3rd annual Rally Day held Saturday.  Different organizations and clubs that use the library for a meeting space or event space were set up in the Meeting Room and the Teamwork Room.

TAMUCT celebrates celebrate with Warrior Picnic

By PAMELA GRANT Cove Leader-Press   Last week, Texas A&M University-Central Texas (TAMUCT) celebrated Warrior Week which culminated in the college’s annual Warrior Picnic on Friday.  The event featured free barbecue courtesy of Schoepf’s Old Time Bar-B-Que and free ice cream courtesy of Waffle Cone.

Lincolnville historical marker dedicated

Easter Egg Round-Up held at City Park
