Coryell County turned out to the tune of more than 19,000 during three weeks of early voting which took place Oct. 13-30 – 19,218 ballots cast, to be exact.

Copperas Cove Five Hills Ambassador Kaydence Roberts has big plans for her business. Having raised more than $40,000 in cash and supplies for the Copperas Cove animal shelter with money raised in part from Lemonade Day, Roberts looks to grow her business each year.

Over the weekend, COVID-19 cases in the state of Texas surpassed the 900,000 mark, climbing to 904,855 as of Sunday afternoon. Active cases number an estimated 102,769, with 18,077 fatalities.

Cove Blue Santa will begin collecting donated toys and gifts as well as monetary donations the first weekend of November for the 2020 Christmas season.
This year marks 21 years since the Cove Blue Santa program started.
