Services held for longtime Cove resident Jim Rudd

By LYNETTE SOWELL The city of Copperas Cove bid farewell to longtime Cove resident, Jim Rudd, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 68. Rudd served 21 years in the US Army, then followed up with a second career in the Copperas Cove Independent School District’s purchasing department for 17 years.

Stoney Brook to celebrate third anniversary

The Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove met on Jan. 24 at Lil Tex Restaurant. President Dennis Ayres opened the meeting by asking the members to recite the Exchange Club Motto. Secretary Pat Thomas led the pledge to the American and Texas flags. Club Member Bill Minton offered the invocation.
