CCLP/TJ MAXWELL - Cove sophomore Aidan Chace had a game-high 17 kills to lead the Lady Dawgs to a 3-1 win over Desoto in the bi-district round of the 2016 UIL Region I-6A State Volleyball Championships. Chace missed the last four games of district play with a knee injury.

Kinslow led with a match-high 14 kills in the win. The Lady Dawgs will face the Desoto Lady Eagles in round one of the playoffs at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Waco High School in Waco.
