Blacksmiths forge at library

  By PAMELA GRANT   Sparks flew and metal rang out as medieval enthusiasts gathered at the library for the opportunity to participate in an interactive medieval blacksmithing demonstration.

Cupcake Challenge

A baking team from the H-E-B Plus! Bakery puts the finishing touches on their cupcakes based on the children’s book “The Giving Tree.” Three teams competed at the store on Saturday afternoon, with customers who donated children’s books being eligible to win one of the three cupcake displays.
