Council takas vote, proposes 2016 property tax rate

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press   On Thursday, the Copperas Cove city council held a special meeting during which it took a record vote for a proposed tax rate for 2016. Councilwoman Marty Smith made a motion to propose the current property tax rate of 79.7908 cents per $100 valuation.
