Gatesville to host annual Spurfest this Saturday

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press   On Tuesday night, Copperas Cove city council approved a 380 economic development agreement between the city and Sutherland Building Materials, LP, the company which plans to open a store in the vacant HE-B building.

Sheffield reads a resolution honoring the late Timothy Molnes, former chief of police, as Copperas Cove police officers and department staff look on during the Copperas Cove city council workshop on Tuesday night. Sheffield presented a printed copy of the proclamation to Molnes’ wife, Tracy, and his daughter.
